The Lilly Conference Series provides opportunities for the presentation of the scholarship of teaching and learning. We invite administrators, graduate students, and faculty to join us at a Lilly event to exchange ideas and build a repertoire of skills that can be put to immediate use.
A faculty learning community (FLC) is a specifically structured learning community of faculty and staff in higher education that includes the goals of building community, engaging in scholarly practice, and developing the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL).
The FLC model was initiated at Miami University in and is now used in colleges and universities across the. Lilly-Bethesda is part of the overall Lilly Conference Series.
For nearly 40 years, Lilly Conferences on College and University Teaching and Learning have provided opportunities for the presentation of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. Faculty and administrators at various stages in their academic careers come from across the United.
